Meet Marrion

OWNER | CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Hey there! I’m Marri Turner, the creator of this peaceful and organic space.

Being a mother, a veteran, and a counselor has taught me that healing doesn’t have to look a certain way to be real. I know what it’s like to carry a lot and still keep going. You won’t have to perform here or have all the words to say. I bring warmth, honesty, and presence into the room. My work is for people who’ve had to be strong for too long, people navigating trauma, burnout, identity shifts, or just trying to keep their head above water. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing anything. It’s about walking with you, one step at a time. I meet you where you are, with no pressure to be further along. Our sessions might be tender or they might be challenging, but they’ll always be real. I pull from a trauma-informed, client-centered lens, which means your voice leads and I move with you, not ahead of you.

I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, along with degrees in Criminal Justice (B.A.) and Business (MBA-Strategic Marketing). I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in Texas, supervised by Tia Jennings, LPC-S (WA/TX).

I’m a military veteran with lived experience in navigating transition and rebuilding from the inside out. I offer therapy that’s steady, grounded, and human. You don’t have to be ready for everything ; just ready to start. If you’re ready to take up space, unpack some of what you’ve been carrying, and feel like yourself again, I’m here when you are.

Values That Guide My Practice

FAITH

This is where the journey begins. Not everything has to make sense before moving forward. There’s room here to trust that a way through exists, even when the picture isn’t clear yet.

FOLLOW-THROUGH

An aerial view of a winding mountain road through a dense green forest.

Healing isn’t always a straight line. Sometimes it’s backroads, detours, or sitting at the same stop sign for a while. But showing up again and again matters. Even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard. We honor every curve and every comeback.

FOCUS

When life pulls you in ten directions, focus helps you come back to yourself. We slow things down. We pay attention to what’s real and happening. No noise, no pressure, just what matters right now.

FORWARD

Even the quietest steps are still steps. It’s choosing yourself, even in small ways. It’s letting go of what’s no longer yours. It’s rest, reflection, and reaching for something more with both feet on the ground. That’s the direction we’re headed.
